Reintroduction pt 1

Watchers, old and new! Random browsers! This is part of my art resolution for the New Year (never mind I made it two weeks in). That being said, let me reintroduce (take off 're' if this is your first time seeing them) you all to Satoryu Karasu and Sakano Hinaku. In their work clothes.

See, I had resolved to draw all the characters from StS (Samurai to Students) since I haven't drawn them regularly since mid-2009. What better way to see my improvement? And luckily, Satoryu and Sakano are first.

My initial reason for redrawing Satoryu was because his birthday was a little over a week ago. I felt ashamed as his creator to miss it (seeing as the only birthday I remember are the septuplets' and Shunsuke's since they're like less a week apart). But then I felt like redrawing Sakano too, because he IS my fave parent OC (it would be Ryohei, but he doesn't have kids). I drew them in the suits because even though I drew pretty much every important adult employed at their school (save for Ryuichi), I never drew anyone but Minoki in the work clothes. Therefore, they needed their work clothes.

By the way, if you actually care who most of these OCs I'm talking about are, the pictures of them are in the 'OC profile with pics' and '100 theme challenge' folders. Or you can just search Samurai to Students.

You wouldn't believe these two are in their 40s, would you? Well, technically, they're 300 years older than the age I put because of them existing in the 1700s and all.

Next few on the list are the septuplets (Kazu, Reishu, Shieru, Hana, Kana, Yuki, and Yore in birth order), Miyama, Yoshiko, Shunsuke, Amirei, and Kazuki. Those are the ones I can't wait to redo. Although I never drew the teen versions of Shieru, Yuki, or Hana.

In total, that story has 62 characters, and I only drew 40 of them back when I made it. Or was it 42...Can't remember. But I know it's in the low-20s range.

So enjoy them~ I feel like having a bit of nostalgia before bed, so I'm gonna search it myself.
